On a busy Thursday morning, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti chose the Metro Red Line for a smooth ride to beat traffic. And while on board, he took care of some very important official business.
After last week's unanimous 13-0 vote of the LA City Council in favor of endorsing Measure M on the November 8 ballot, all that was required was Mayor Garcetti's signature to make the resolution official. So during his journey downtown from Hollywood, the Mayor chatted with fellow passengers, took time for a few selfies, and signed the documents expressing the City of LA's enthusiastic support for the Los Angeles County Traffic Improvement Plan.
